    :

This is the best R.Pi case that I’ve ever owned, and I’ve gone through at least six.

    :

This case fit my raspberry pi 3 perfectly and has a very nice shiney finish with the raspberry logo cut out on the top. There are no tools required to install the pi into this case and it seems very durable.

This is a great basic case. You can use most hats but full sized hats don’t sit securely on the case. It does have a slot between the side and the cover to utilize a ribbon.

The only complaint i have is you cant take out the sd card with this case on. Maybe mine was formed wrong but its a tab bit out if alignment and i have to take the case apart to get sd card out

    :

This case makes getting to the memory card on pi3 very hard. Works much better on pi 2.

    :

Ok great fit especially if u have the camera module. U chisel out with a pocket knife and the camera fits internal perfect. Took me 10 Seconds of pocket knife work and u got a great pi3 case with camera

    :

4.5/5, due to my subtle inability to understand 3d objects and their restrictions, this case is hard for me to put on. works well tho

  8. 4 out of 5

    :

Pi 3 drops right in and all the openings align perfectly with all ports. The included heatsinks for the CPU and network chipswere a nice addition. Very nice fit and finish. Looks good even with the top off to allow access to GPIO. Also has a slot to hold a camera upright. In my pic you can see the additional cutout added for the network chip heatsink.

The best case at this price point. It would be a perfect case if light pipes or a small window were added to allow seeing the LED status lights.

Raspberry Pi Case (Black) fits Raspberry Pi 3, 2 and B+

The description says it fits raspberry pi 3 but it does not. The main heat sink for the CPU is misplaced as you can see in the picture and the small heat sink is missing so you can place only one heat sink but the case won’t close because the whole is in the wrong place.

    Update:
I sent them an email and they sent me a new case with the right case this time. They told they had limited quantity of cases with the heatsink holes in place, but they managed to get me one. I added a picture of the new case.

    :

the case fit in perfectly with my Raspberry Pi 2 Model B.

    :

Love this case. No screws, no difficult mounting post snaps that trap the Pi, just an easy slide in and the little Raspberry Pi 3 is held firmly in place under a lip.

The top of the case snaps on easily, and has enough clearance around its edges to feed through a GPIO extender ribbon so that any projects you may have that require in/out pins can still work with this sleek case.

All ports remain easily accessible. I was a bit concerned that I would have trouble with the memory slot, but those worries were quickly put to rest once I actually slid in my microSDHC card and took it back out. It was easy as…. Pi.

If you are working on a project were you want to house your Pi separately, or just want to provide a great looking place to keep it safe when its sitting out, look no further. This case is a real winner.

    :

Raspberry Pi 3 fits in here just fine but 3 stars because the status LEDs are blocked. Don’t advertise as compatible with Pi 3 if I can’t see the status lights.

Fits my Pi 2 perfect, and the two heatsinks are a nice addition. No complaints!

This case ROCKS. Super easy, very snug, everything is accessible. Well thought out.

    EPIC Case! I love it!!

    :

I bought two and one of the two was missing heat sink, which sucks (hence two stars) and other had a slight bent plastic although it didn’t cause any issues and fits raspberry pi perfectly.

    Good case

    :

Raspberry Pi B+ fits perfect inside this case it is very sleek and looks excellent and can be placed in the open and just look like some sort of amazing tiny computer! If you want a nice case for your Pi get this one it is very durable and can accommodate many things, such as camera and a fan for the processor.

    Well designed and good quality

Once I figured out how to mount the RasPi 2 it was no problem. Could use some basic instructions on how to set the board in the box with damaging either.

    Great case.

    :

This is my favorite case for raspberry pi. Product was packaged great.

    :

Pretty good case. I would give it 4.5/5 for one major flaw, though. The SD card slot can be a pain to work with. What I like most about it is that the top comes off and gives you access to the GPIO pins and ports without sacrificing the rigidity of the case.

Great fit. Snug. Good luck too for the living room. Solid design.

I purchased the black version of this case and ended up receiving a white case. I am not sure how this happened? I just chose to keep it anyways. It also took a lot of struggle to get this case to fit on my Raspberry Pi 2, but once it was on it fit really snug!

This is my favorite case for the Pi. I’ve bought many and will continue to do so.

    :

this review is for the older model of the case prior to the “new fit enhancements for Pi2”

this is a well manufactured case being very solid in construction and finished well for a nice polished sleek look – most of the design specs for this case are right on, usb, power, hdmi, audio etc all fit snug and firm, but the actual pi2 seems to be a bit too tight when first getting it in – as many other reviewers said they needed to shave down a small piece of a plastic foot that supports the board to get a better fit – while you arent required to do this, from my personal experience you feel like youre going to break the pi2 to force it to fit if you dont tool the plastic down a bit, however yes it will fit without any tooling

this extra tight fit (without tooling) makes the microSD card very difficult to get to as it presses tightly against the upper lip of the port hole

i’d be anxious to try out the new better fit version in the future to compare
